Established in 1981, the Honduran American Chamber of Commerce is an independent, voluntary, non-profit association of business executives focused on United States trade and investment and local community services. AmCham Honduras operates in conjunction with host country companies and the government to implement a wide range of initiatives. AmCham Honduras aims to develop mutually beneficial commercial relationships between the United States and Honduras, communicate the benefits of the free enterprise system, promote corporate citizenship, and serve as a liaison between the U.S. Embassy and the Honduran business community.
